The Saint Michael Schola Cantorum ("school of singers") is a choir of men, women, and children who serve Our Lord Jesus Christ at the Holy Mass. The choir rehearses every Sunday morning and sings the Mass at 10:30am. We prepare chants, hymns, psalms, and polyphonic motets to enhance the dignity and beauty of the Liturgy. Contact the music director, David Flournoy, if you would like to join our choir family!
We are proud to house an original pipe organ manufactured by the Estey Organ Company right here in Brattleboro, VT. This two-manual organ contains 19 ranks with 1,091 pipes and boasts one of the only sets of acoustic tower bells in the state. It is said that the sound of these tower bells can be heard throughout downtown, signaling the moment of the consecration of the Body and Blood of Christ during the Mass.
